ERID was born out of a desire to take concrete action for agricultural and rural development. After many years of hands-on experience in the field, we witnessed the challenges faced by farmers, communities, and organizations striving to create sustainable livelihoods. We understood that expert guidance, combined with local knowledge, could lead to lasting change.

Since its founding in 2012, ERID has worked closely with partners at all levels—from smallholder farmers to government agencies—to design and implement practical, inclusive, and sustainable solutions.
